The series premiere of Sexy Beast is now available to watch for free on YouTube. Considering the new series only just dropped on Paramount+ today, this is a good way to see if the new show is worth your time before signing up for a subscription.
Set in the 1990s, Sexy Beast is a prequel series to the 2000 movie of the same name and tells the origin story of Gal Dove (played by James McArdle) and Don Logan’s (Emun Elliott) complicated relationship. If now interested in watching the first episode, those in the U.S. can watch it for free on the Paramount+ YouTube channel. Likewise, those in the UK and Ireland can check it out for free on the Paramount+ UK & Ireland YouTube channel.
As the show is a Paramount+ original, access to the streaming service is required to watch the rest of the series. Paramount+ offers two main plans to choose from, with the cheapest being the $5.99/month Paramount+ Essential plan. For those wanting to remove the ads and gain access to the Showtime library, the Paramount+ with Showtime plan costs $11.99 a month. Both plans unlock access to Sexy Beast and both come with a 7-day free trial.
For reference, only three episodes of Sexy Beast are currently available to stream on Paramount+. New episodes are due to be released weekly (every Thursday) up until the series finale on Feb. 29, 2024.
For those also interested in watching the original Sexy Beast movie, either before or after the new series, it is also currently available to stream with a Paramount+ subscription.
