Warner Bros. Discovery today announced the post-separation company names for the ‘Streaming & Studios‘ business and the ‘Global Networks‘ business.
As a reminder, Warner Bros. Discovery confirmed in June that it now plans to separate into the two different companies, with the expectation that the separation will happen in mid-2026.
Once the separation does occur, the ‘Streaming & Studios‘ business will officially be known as Warner Bros. This business will include the HBO Max streaming service, as well as Warner Bros. Television, Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group, DC Studios, HBO, and Warner Bros. Gaming Studios.
Following the split, the ‘Global Networks‘ business will officially be known as Discovery Global. This company will include the Discovery+ and Bleacher Report (B/R) streaming services, as well as entertainment, sports and news television brands including CNN, TNT Sports in the U.S., and Discovery.
The new Discovery Global company will also include free-to-air channels across Europe.
Along with the confirmation of the names of each company, Warner Bros. Discovery has also confirmed senior leadership appointments for both companies.
