If you’ve been considering giving BritBox a try, the streaming service is currently running a promotion which reduces the cost down to just $9 for the first two months. However, this is a very limited-time deal, as new subscribers only have until 3:00 am EST on May 13 to lock in the cheaper price.
Considering BritBox normally costs $8.99 a month, this deal is basically 50% off the cost of the first two months, or equal to paying for one full month and getting the second month for free. While not quite as good as this deal from February, it is still a good way to save on the cost of a new subscription.
As this promotion is on the first two months, it is only available to new and returning BritBox subscribers. The offer is also only available when signing up through the BritBox website, ruling out the option of subscribing through third parties, including Amazon, Apple, Google, Comcast, Vizio and Roku.
Another caveat is that there is no option of a free trial with this promotion. As a result, new subscribers will be expected to pay the full $9 for the first two months when signing up. Following those two discounted months, subscribers will continue to be charged the usual $8.99/month rate, unless the subscription is canceled.
For those completely new to BritBox, the streaming service unlocks access to ‘the best British TV,’ with the content lineup including a variety of original mysteries, comedies, and period dramas, as well as classic and popular British shows.
