  • The new NBCSN officially went live on YouTube TV today at noon ET, offering access to live sports like NBA, MLB, Premier League, and Olympic coverage.
  • Alongside live games, viewers get access to popular sports talk shows such as PFT Live, The Dan Patrick Show, and Fantasy Football Happy Hour.
  • NBCSN is expected to roll out to other pay-TV services in the future, with Xfinity understood to be next.

For those signed up to YouTube TV, or considering signing up, the new NBCSN officially went live today at noon ET.

As explained last week, the new version of NBCSN isn’t expected to be massively dissimilar to the version that was shut down in 2021.

Instead, unlike back in 2021, the focus with the new channel is to offer those that prefer a linear viewing experience a way to watch live sports. The new channel is home to a variety of live sports, including NBA, MLB, Premier League, and Olympic coverage

In addition to live events, YouTube TV subscribers can also expect access to a selection of related sports programming, including popular sports talk shows like PFT Live, The Dan Patrick Show, The Dan Le Batard Show, and Fantasy Football Happy Hour.

In spite of launching exclusively on YouTube TV, NBCSN is expected to become available to users of other pay-TV services in the future.

While Xfinity TV is understood to be next up, the exact date the channel will go live on Comcast’s live TV service remains unknown.

Today’s launch of NBCSN also isn’t expected to affect Peacock subscribers in any meaningful way. This includes any changes to the sports content they have access to as part of their Premium subscription.
