Subscribers to DirecTV’s MySports Extra now have a new channel. This week DirecTV added The Cowboy Channel to the Mini-Pack’s lineup, and just in time for this year’s The American Rodeo Championship Weekend.

The timing is all the more notable as this year’s The American Rodeo takes place this weekend. Over May 22–23, pros, rising stars, and underdogs will compete across eight traditional rodeo disciplines in the hope of winning a share of the $3 million purse.
Thanks to the addition of The Cowboy Channel, MySports Extra subscribers can now catch all the action from this year’s event as it happens.
Once The American Rodeo Championship Weekend comes to an end, MySports Extra subscribers will still have access to year-round coverage of major PRCA events, including Rodeo Austin and San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.
