FX is one of the few channels that’s readily available through a variety of live TV streaming services, but Sling TV is the cheapest option overall. However, it might be worth considering a basic Hulu subscription instead of paying for a live TV package.
While basic Hulu doesn’t include the live FX channel, it is the official streaming home of FX. As a result, subscribers can expect access to more than 60 FX shows, new episodes a day after they air on live TV, and new originals that are only available to stream on Hulu. Best of all, Hulu subscriptions start at just $7.99 a month.

Cheapest Way To Watch Live FX Channel
Sling TV is currently the cheapest way to watch the live FX channel. Sling TV offers two main base packages, Sling Orange and Sling Blue. While both of these plans start at $40 a month, and offer access to very similar channel lineups, only the Sling Blue plan includes FX.
For those also wanting access to FXM and FXX, both channels can be added to Sling Blue through the Hollywood Extra add-on. This premium upgrade adds $6 taking the total cost of watching FX, FXM and FXX through Sling TV up to a minimum of $46 a month.
In total, Sling Blue subscribers get access to more than 40 live TV, along with 50 hours of DVR, and the ability to stream on multiple devices at the same time.

Other Ways To Watch FX Live Channel
At $72.99 a month, the next cheapest option is YouTube TV. One of the good things about YouTube TV is that the base package includes FX, FXM and FXX, making it a good option for fans of the network. In total, YouTube TV subscribers get access to more than 100 live TV channels, as well as an unlimited DVR.
Hulu Live TV is another good option for fans of FX, thanks to the inclusion of FX, FX and FXM in the base package. While Hulu Live TV costs a minimum of $76.99 a month, subscribers also get access to Disney+ and ESPN+ at no additional cost.
DirecTV Stream offers multiple plans to choose from and both FX and FXX are included with the cheapest (Entertainment) plan, which starts at $79.99 a month. Those also wanting access to FXM will need to consider signing up to Ultimate or higher, increasing the minimum cost to $119.99 a month.
A final option is Fubo. The cheapest Fubo package (Pro) costs $79.99 a month (+ RSN fee where applicable) and provides access to more than 190 channels, including both FX and FXX. For those that want access to FXM as well, it can be added to Pro through the Fubo Extra add-on, or by subscribing to the $99.99/month Elite with Sports Plus package.
FX And TV Everywhere
In addition to watching FX through a live TV service’s app and website, it is also possible to watch through the FX app and website. This is made possible through TV Everywhere support and still requires access to a live TV package that includes the network.
While TV Everywhere support is not always available for every channel included with a live TV package, that’s not really an issue with FX. Subscribers to Sling TV, YouTube TV, Hulu Live TV, DirecTV Stream and Fubo all receive Everywhere support for the channel.
Considering there is no difference in the level of TV Everywhere support, Sling TV remains the best option for those looking for the cheapest way to watch FX programming live and on-demand, as well as through a live TV service and through the FX app and website.
