Verizon’s Free NFL Sunday Ticket Is Back for 2026 – Check if You Qualify

With NFL season just around the corner, you can expect to see a number of promotions launching in the coming days and weeks. In the case of Verizon, you can get an NFL Sunday Ticket subscription for free, providing you are willing to buy another product or service.

As has been the case for a few years now, Verizon is once again running an ‘on us‘ promotion that discounts or completely removes the cost of an NFL Sunday Ticket subscription through YouTube Primetime Channels.

The promotion began yesterday (July 30) and continues through September 2nd, 2026. During this time, customers can get a free NFL Sunday Ticket subscription from Verizon when completing one of the following actions.

• Purchase an eligible 5G phone and activate a new smartphone line on an Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plan.
• Upgrade an existing line to an Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plan after the purchase of an eligible 5G phone.
• Switch your home internet connection to Fios Home Internet plans or select premium Verizon Home Internet options (including 5G Home Ultimate or Verizon Home Internet Lite Extra).
• Switch your home connection to a Frontier Fiber internet tier (1G, 2G, 5G, or 7G).

While these options do all require some sort of purchase or upgrade, an NFL Sunday Ticket for the 2026-27 season through YouTube Primetime Channels costs $480, so this is still quite the saving.

Verizon Also Offering a Sunday Ticket discount to Existing Customers

Although not quite as good as the offer available to those purchasing or upgrading, Verizon is also offering select existing customers a discount on the cost of NFL Sunday Ticket for the upcoming season.

Basically, existing Verizon Home Internet and existing Simplicity customers can now get a standalone NFL Sunday Ticket subscription from YouTube for $234.

Alternatively, they can subscribe to the NFL Sunday Ticket + NFL RedZone bundle for $276.
