What You Need to Know

  • Bowling TV is now available to watch for free on The Roku Channel and Vizio WatchFree+.
  • The 24/7 channel launched in April through a partnership between Triple B Media and the United States Bowling Congress (USBC).
  • Bowling TV features a mix of live events, archival matches, and competitive shows like Beat the Champ and Tang at the Lanes.

Bowling TV is fairly new to the world of FAST, as the 24/7 free channel only started streaming in April. Operated by Triple B Media, the channel was launched in partnership with the National Governing Body for bowling, the United States Bowling Congress (USBC).

Considering this is still a relatively new FAST channel, platform support remains limited. At launch, the channel became available to stream on Amazon Prime Video, LG Channels, Xumo Play, DISH TV, Bonusview, Sling Freestream, Plex, and Free Live Sports.

Today that list of supported platforms has grown by two, as the Bowling TV FAST channel is also now available to stream on The Roku Channel and Vizio’s WatchFree+ streaming service.

“Bowling fans are always looking for more ways to watch the sport they love, so we’re thrilled that Bowling TV is now available on The Roku Channel and VIZIO WatchFree+,” says Brendan Canning, co-founder and chief commercial officer of Triple B Media, which operates Bowling TV.

Along with expanding to two more free platforms, Triple B Media also confirmed the arrival of Beat the Champ on the channel. The weekly show sees top bowlers compete head-to-head for prize money each week, along with the right to return as the new champ the next week and take on a new set of qualifiers.

“We keep adding more and more live tournament action and great shows like ‘Beat the Champ,’ which is a cool combination of competition and entertainment. We want to appeal to all fans of bowling, no matter what they like or how they view it,” added Canning.

In addition to original titles like Beat the Champ and Tang at the Lanes, those tuning in to the FAST channel for the first time can expect to see a wide variety of bowling content, including international competitions, USBC and Professional Women’s Bowling Association archival programming, live events, and live coverage of PBA and PWBA regional events.
