Amazon hosted its first-ever Upfront earlier today and confirmed its programming plans for the upcoming season, including a variety of movies, shows and live sports events that will be available to watch on Prime Video.
As part of the presentation, Amazon confirmed it now has the potential to engage with 175 million users across its entire streaming TV offering. Speaking of which, Amazon also confirmed it now offers access to more than 500 FAST channels, and 135 streaming services (in the U.S.).
In terms of new programming, here’s a rundown of everything Amazon confirmed as coming to Prime Video.
Movies
- Heads Of State – starring Idris Elba, John Cena, and Priyanka Chopra-Jonas
- Jackpot – action-comedy starring John Cena, Awkwafina, and Simu Liu, and directed by Paul Feig
- Man with a Bag – holiday movie starring Alan Ritchson and Arnold Schwarzenegger (coming 2025)
- Play Dirty – starring Mark Wahlberg
- The Pick Up – starring Eddie Murphy, Keke Palmer, Pete Davidson, and Eva Longoria
- Road House – sequel
- You’re Cordially Invited – starring Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell

- The 1% Club – hosted by Patton Oswalt (begins next week)
