What You Need to Know

  • The first season of Apple TV’s comedy series Stick is now available to stream for free on Samsung TV Plus for a limited time.
  • The series stars Owen Wilson as a former pro golfer who begins mentoring a talented teenage player.
  • Fans will need an Apple TV subscription to watch the second season when it premieres on November 4, 2026.

Starring Owen Wilson as Pryce Cahill, Stick tells the story of an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer. Struggling to stay afloat after an on-course meltdown derailed his career, Cahill decides to mentor Santi, a teenage phenom with immense potential.

Following its debut in June 2025, the series has remained exclusively available to stream with an Apple TV subscription.

Beginning today, however, Stick is available to stream on Samsung TV Plus in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia. As Samsung TV Plus is a completely free streaming service, the entire first season is now available to stream for free.

While it remains unclear how long Stick will be available on Samsung TV Plus, the first season has been added to the free service’s library ahead of next month’s arrival of the second season.

However, unlike season one, fans of the comedy series will need an Apple TV subscription to stream the second season when the first two episodes premiere on November 4, 2026.

For those now considering giving Samsung TV Plus a try, the streaming service is home to a large library of free content in general, including original series, live events, and nearly 5,000 FAST channels across 30 countries.

Samsung TV Plus is also available to watch across a variety of Samsung devices, including Samsung TVs and Galaxy devices, as well as Samsung Smart Monitor and Family Hub devices.
