Samsung TV Plus has partnered with Billboard to add BillboardTV to the free streaming service’s channel lineup. The new FAST channel provides 24/7 access to music culture and breaking news.
Key Takeaways
- BillboardTV is now streaming free on Samsung TV Plus, offering 24/7 music news, performances, and exclusive content.
- Programming includes live shows, interviews, and red carpet coverage, with the debut livestream featuring top artists debating 2025’s chart-topping hits.
- The partnership brings Billboard’s music storytelling to more homes, expanding its reach through Samsung’s global streaming platform.
With BillboardTV now available, Samsung TV Plus users can expect access to a variety of music-related programming, including live performances, never-before-seen interviews, coverage of red carpet events, and breaking news from the world of music.
“Billboard has always been at the center of music culture, capturing the moments that shape the industry and the artists who define generations,” said Mike Van, CEO of Billboard. “With BillboardTV, we’re taking that mission even further—bringing our storytelling, our events, and our unparalleled access directly to fans’ living rooms.”
Launched as an exclusive Samsung TV Plus channel, BillboardTV aims to provide music lovers with a one-stop destination for all things Billboard.
“Partnering with Samsung TV Plus allows us to build a channel that’s as dynamic and always-on as music itself, creating a destination where fans can experience the energy, creativity, and passion that only Billboard can deliver,” added Van.
The first major BillboardTV livestream to feature on the channel will be a special extended edition of Billboard Unfiltered.
The livestream will include artists and creators unveiling and debating the 2025 year-end No. 1 songs across several key charts, including the Hot 100, Billboard 200, Hip-Hop & R&B, Hot Latin Songs, Country, and more.
“With BillboardTV, we’re advancing our vision of Samsung TV Plus as a home for live exclusive content and cultural experiences,” said Salek Brodsky, SVP & Global Head of Samsung TV Plus. “This new channel brings the full weight of Billboard’s influence into our ecosystem, giving fans direct access to the moments that matter, and is a powerful step in expanding our leadership as the go-to destination for premium entertainment.”
The arrival of BillboardTV on Samsung TV Plus follows the addition of two other FAST channels in August, The Martha Stewart Channel and the The Emeril Lagasse Channel.
As a reminder, Samsung TV Plus is a completely free streaming service. Samsung TV Plus is available to stream on a variety of Samsung devices, including Samsung smart TVs and Galaxy mobile devices, as well as the company’s Smart Monitor and Family Hub devices.
