Chase has now announced its Q2 2025 cash back categories and the list includes streaming services. As a result, Freedom and Freedom Flex cardmembers can earn 5% cash back on many popular streaming services during the second quarter of this year.
Video streaming services listed as available in Chase’s Q2 2025 cash back program include Disney+, Fubo, Hulu, ESPN+, Netflix, Paramount+, Peacock, Sling TV, Vudu, and YouTube TV. The promotion also covers select music streaming services, including Apple Music, Pandora, SiriusXM, and Spotify.
It is worth noting that the additional cash back is only available when actually signing up to a subscription to these services and not purchases in general. For example, the cash back won’t be available if purchasing gift cards for any of these streaming services or any hardware products.
In addition to streaming services, Chase will also be offering 5% cash back to cardmembers on Amazon purchases. This includes digital downloads, Amazon.com Gift Cards, Amazon Fresh orders, Amazon Prime subscriptions, as well as items sold by third-party merchants through Amazon.com marketplace and Whole Foods Market.
“Chase Freedom is always looking for ways to offer more value to our cardmembers. We know that Amazon and Streaming Service categories are cardmember favorites, so we’re bringing them back during our 15th year of cash back categories,” said Wittney Rachlin, General Manager of Chase Freedom.
As these additional cash back options are only available during the second quarter, they will be available between April 1 and June 30, 2025. In addition, $1,500 is the total amount of cash back available in combined purchases during the quarter.
“Whether cardmembers are streaming their favorite comfort show, shopping for spring cleaning items or purchasing everyday essentials, this is just another way we’re celebrating our loyal cashbacking cardmembers,” Rachlin added.
