DirecTV customers can now stream MGM+ for free and will be able to continue streaming the premium service throughout the Labor Day weekend. The company’s latest free preview is available to all DirecTV customers, including streaming, satellite, and U-verse customers.
What You Need to Know
- All DirecTV, streaming, and U-verse customers now have access to a free preview of MGM+.
- The free preview is available from September 4 through September 7.
- The preview includes access to MGM+ live channels, on-demand hit movies like Project Hail Mary, and original series.
DirecTV’s MGM+ free preview became available today (September 4) and continues through September 7th, making it a full Labor Day weekend freebie.
During the free preview, DirecTV customers can head to the Guide section and stream the now unlocked MGM+ live channels, including MGM+ (Ch. 558), MGM+ Hits (Ch. 559), and MGM+ Marquee (Ch. 560).
U-verse customers can access MGM+ (Ch. 891/1891), MGM+ West (Ch. 892/1892), MGM+ Hits (Ch. 893/1893), MGM+ Marquee (Ch. 1894), and MGM+ Drive-In (Ch. 896).
In addition to the live channels, the free preview also unlocks access to on-demand titles, which can be found on the MGM+ network page or in the temporary Free Preview carousel available on the Watch page.
As is typically the case with DirecTV free previews, customers don’t have to do anything to activate the free preview, with the live channels and on-demand content automatically unlocked.
Stream ‘Project Hail Mary’ and More
For those unsure of what to stream first, MGM+ is home to a variety of popular movies and series—including the recently released-to-streaming box office smash, Project Hail Mary.
