FloSports has now confirmed that its new FloCollege streaming service will launch on October 15th. While the new service was announced earlier this year, it remained unclear exactly when the service would go live, or how much it would cost.
Along with the launch date, FloSports has also now confirmed the price. Those signing up on a monthly basis can expect to pay $19.99 a month, while those signing up on a yearly basis can expect to pay $107.88 a year.
Based on the yearly amount, annual subscribers will pay roughly $8.99 a month, which represents a considerable saving on the cost.
Speaking of savings, FloSports has also confirmed that those with an .edu email from a member institution will be able to sign up for only $9.99 a month or $71.88 a year ($5.99/month).
As a reminder, a FloSports subscription will unlock access to live games and related programming from 12 NCAA conferences across Division I, Division II and Division III. The lineup of sports includes Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Hockey, Rugby, Wrestling, Lacrosse, Softball, Volleyball, Field Hockey, Cross Country, Fencing, Golf, Gymnastics, Swimming, Tennis, Track & Field, Rowing, and Water Polo.
A subscription will also unlock access to more more than 4,000 women’s games at the D-II and D-III level. In total, the plan is for the streaming service to offer access to more than 12,000 live games for the 2024-2025 season.
FloSports had previously confirmed that the service will be accessible through an updated version of the FloSports TV app, available on Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, and Roku at launch.
Subscribers will also be able to access the service via the website, and on Android and iOS mobile devices by downloading the mobile FloSports app.
