Fox Weather is now available on Pluto TV. The channel was officially added on August 1, so some users may have already noticed its arrival. With the new channel available, Pluto TV users now have access to even more weather-based news and related content.
For those that have yet to check out the new addition, Fox Weather can be accessed through the News and Opinion section of Pluto TV, or by simply searching for the channel by name.
Fox Soul and LiveNow from Fox were also added to Pluto TV this month, along with Alien Nation by Dust, Cheaters, Makers, and Star Trek: The Motion Pictures FAST channels.
“As we head into the heart of an already unprecedented hurricane season, we are thrilled to bring Fox Weather’s premium live weather news service to Pluto TV users at this critical time. With this new partnership, Fox Weather is now available on all major FAST platforms with more live programming than any other weather network to keep our viewers informed, prepared and safe,” said Sharri Berg, President, Fox Weather.
Pluto TV marks just the latest expansion for Fox Weather. Earlier this year, for example, the channel was added to Hulu Live TV’s base package and also became available on TCL’s TCLtv+ free streaming service.
Other services and platforms that already carry Fox Weather include DirecTV Stream, Fire TV Channels, LG Channels, Samsung TV Plus, Sling Freestream, Fubo, The Roku Channel, Vizio Watchfree+, Xumo Play and YouTube TV.
In a separate announcement today, Fox Media confirmed Mike Seidel had joined Fox Weather as a meteorologist and storm specialist from The Weather Channel. Seidel made his Fox Weather debut over the weekend in Florida covering the start of Hurricane Debby and continued live coverage through the overnight hours when it made landfall.
Ari Sarsalari has also left The Weather Channel to join the Fox Weather team.
