Fubo has now officially launched a new ‘Fubo Channel Store.’ The new central hub is designed to make it easier for consumers to find and manage premium standalone plans.
Key Takeaways
- The Fubo Channel Store is a new hub that lets users subscribe to standalone streaming services, and without having to also subscribe to a base live TV plan.
- Initial offerings include popular services like DAZN One, Hallmark+, MGM+, Paramount+ with Showtime, and Starz, with more expected to be added over time.
- Subscribers to these standalone plans can also access Fubo Free’s nearly 200 FAST channels at no extra cost.
While Fubo‘s existing paid live TV subscribers can easily manage add-ons through their account, the added benefit of the new Fubo Channel Store is that the premium standalone plans are also available to those not currently signed up to one of Fubo’s base live TV packages.
“We hear consumers’ frustration with having to switch between multiple apps to access their favorite content. The Fubo Channel Store offers an aggregated and ingested experience for standalone plans, which include direct-to-consumer services, and delivers it to consumers through a single frictionless experience,” said David Gandler, co-founder and CEO, Fubo.
As the Fubo Channel Store is still new, it is a little limited in terms of the variety of available subscription options right now, though that’s expected to change over time.
At launch, and in addition to direct-to-consumer (DTC) services from multiple regional sports networks (RSNs) in select markets, consumers can subscribe to any of the following services through the new Fubo Channel Store.
- DAZN One
- Hallmark+
- MGM+
- Paramount+ with Showtime
- Starz.
Along with access to the content included with these standalone premium subscriptions, subscribers to any of these services can also use their Fubo account details to access Fubo Free.
Fubo Free is home to a collection of nearly 200 FAST channels, all of which are available to watch at no additional cost.
