Future Today has confirmed that it now reaches 75 million households in the U.S. A major milestone for the company and one that’s been fueled by its Fawesome and HappyKids streaming platforms.
Key Takeaways
- Driven by its FAST platforms Fawesome and HappyKids, Future Today now reaches 75 million U.S. households and generates 2 billion monthly ad impressions
- Engagement and content expansion are fueling growth, including a surge in creator partnerships and increased live sports programming.
- Fawesome is now seeing longer session times and diverse audience growth, while HappyKids has seen its audience grow 45% year-over-year.
Future Today has always focused on the free, ad-supported side of the market, and that appears to be a bet that has continually paid off. With the entire FAST market having exploded in popularity over the last few years, many companies have seen major growth during that time.
Future Today appears to be one of them, with the company confirming it now reaches more than 75 million U.S. households.
Announced at IAB NewFronts, and marking the company’s 20th anniversary, Future Today confirmed this reach now results in 2 billion monthly ad impressions.
According to Future Today, viewers streamed more than 850 million hours across its network in 2025 alone, and viewers now spend an average of 2.5 hours per session across its platforms.
“We placed a big bet twenty years ago that the future of streaming would be free, accessible, and powered by advertising,” said Vikrant Mathur, Co-Founder of Future Today. “What started as a bold idea in 2006 has now become the industry standard. Free streaming has won — and Future Today is just getting started.”
In terms of Fawesome, the company’s free ad-supported streaming entertainment platform, engagement continues to grow, with average session times increasing by 57%.
Future Today explains one of the drivers of this growth in recent years has been the company’s expansion into the creator economy. Fawesome added more than 50 new creator partnerships in 2025, with these partnerships spanning a variety of genres including sports, gaming, lifestyle, and family entertainment.
This is a direction the service plans to continue moving forward in, confirming that it has also now partnered with Jesser, a basketball creator on YouTube with nearly 40 million subscribers.
Another major area of growth for Fawesome has been its investment in live sports programming. The service already partners with the A7FL (American 7s Football League), the Professional Grappling Federation, and wrestling properties.
Fawesome’s reach also seems to be fairly universal, with the company confirming Hispanic and African American viewers now represent 25% and 20% of the audience respectively. As a result, Spanish-language watch time has increased 120% and African American watch time has increased 45%.
HappyKids, the company’s ad-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) platform for kids and families, has also seen major growth, with audiences up 45% year-over-year, and the platform generating more than 800 million monthly impressions on its own.
Similar to Fawesome, HappyKids is also constantly expanding, with its kids and family library now offering access to a variety of premium and classic content, including Barney, Blippi, Clifford, Franklin, Garfield, Hey Duggee, Like Nastya, and Pokémon.
