Beginning September 9th and running through October 13th, LG will be offering TV owners various promotions to celebrate ‘LG Streaming Week‘ and 10 years of webOS. The promotions will vary each week, and include discounts and extended free trials on popular streaming services.
For reference, the promotions are only available to owners of select LG TVs released from 2018 and running a minimum of webOS 4.0. This is in addition to owners of the company’s StanbyME and StanbyME Go devices.
Here are some of the confirmed offers that will be available during the promotional period.
- Apple TV+: 3-month free trial
- Paramount+: 50% off
- Mubi: 70% off
- Dazn: 25% off NFL Game Pass Season Pro / NFL Weekly Pro for $0.99
- Crunchyroll: 30-day free trial
- Baby Shark World: 1 month free
Again, these promotions will be available during different weeks and for a very limited time. The only notable exception is the three-month Apple TV+ free trial, which is due to remain available from September 9 through November 17, 2024.
Users can check which deal is available to them directly on their LG smart TV once the promotional period has begun.
- Week 1 starts Sept. 9 and closes Sept. 15
- Week 2 starts Sept. 16 and closes Sept. 22
- Week 3 starts Sept. 23 and closes Sept. 29
- Week 4 starts Sept. 30 and closes Oct. 6
- Week 5 starts Oct. 7 and closes Oct. 13
It also worth noting that the availability of these deals will vary by market as well. For example, while the Apple TV+ offer is available in over 90 markets, the Paramount+ offer is available in 18 countries, the Mubi offer in 28 markets, and the Dazn offer in 41 markets.
