DirecTV and DirecTV Stream subscribers now have access to at least eight additional channels for the rest of the month. The latest Movies Extra Pack free preview unlocks access to even more movies, shows, documentaries, music performances, and short films.
The channels were unlocked today (March 25) and will remain available through Friday (March 31). During this time, DirecTV and DirecTV Stream subscribers can consume as much content as they want for free from the following channels.
- Crime & Investigation
- Hallmark Family
- Hallmark Mystery
- HDNET Movies
- ShortsTV
- Smithsonian Channel
- Sony Movies
- MTV Live
DirecTV via Internet and DirecTV Stream subscribers can also watch INSP through the same free preview. DirecTV via Satellite customers already have access to INSP as part of their existing channel lineup.
All the unlocked Movies Extra Pack networks included in the free preview can be found in the live guide on channels 564-573 for DirecTV via Satellite customers, and on channels 364, 564-573 for DirecTV via Internet and DirecTV Stream subscribers.
For any subscribers that would like to retain access to these channels once the free preview comes to an end, Movies Extra Pack can be added to any DirecTV or DirecTV Stream package for an additional $4.99 a month. New DirecTV Stream subscribers can also add Movies Extra Pack to their preferred live TV package when signing up.
