NESN has now launched its first national FAST channel. The new NESN Nation channel has launched in parentship with AMC Networks and is now available on a variety of free platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Plex, and The Roku Channel.

Viewers of the channel can expect access to more 30 hours of live and original programming each week, including live games, live gameday content, live press conferences, interviews, game and sports betting analysis, features, documentaries and video podcasts.

NESN Nation will also feature coverage of NESN’s flagship teams like the Red Sox, Bruins and Liverpool FC to women’s sports, New England Division III teams, and the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). However, the exact degree of coverage of each team will vary, and won’t be complete, ensuring a difference between the FAST and paid NESN experiences.

As examples over the next few weeks, four live Red Sox Spring Training games (Feb. 23, March 2, March 9, and March 23) will be available to watch live on NESN Nation. Likewise, live streams of Boston Bruins Morning Skates (March 11 and March 17), as well as Pregame Skates (Feb. 25, March 4, and March 15), will also be available to watch live on NESN Nation.

In addition to weekly live and original programming, the channel will also be home to a wide selection of library content from NESN.

For those interested in checking the new NESN FAST channel out, it is now available on Amazon Prime Video, The Roku Channel, Twitch and Plex. NESN also confirmed plans to announce additional NESN Nation distribution partnerships in the future, with Samsung TV Plus expected to be the next platform to gain support.

While NESN hasn’t confirmed exactly when Samsung TV Plus support would become available, outside of stating “in the coming weeks,” NESN did confirm the March 9 and March 23 Red Sox Spring Training games will be available on Samsung TV Plus, indicating support for Samsung’s free streaming service will be live by March 9 at the latest.
