If you currently use PayPal to pay for your Fubo subscription you will need to add a new payment method to your account, and expect to begin paying with that new payment option from next month. Failure to add a new payment option in time will result in losing access to the Fubo package.

  • Fubo will stop accepting PayPal for payments starting April 2, 2026, requiring affected users to switch to a credit or debit card to avoid losing access.
  • Accounts that don’t update their payment method in time will expire, with prorated refunds issued for any unused portions of a billing cycle.
  • Fubo is offering affected subscribers a $15 bill credit to offset the inconvenience.

While Fubo has accepted PayPal as a payment method for years, that’s changing from next month.

Fubo started emailing subscribers this week to advise them of the change, confirming that the live TV service will no longer support PayPal as a method of payment beginning April 2, 2026.

While not a problem for those that sign up after that date, as the option to use PayPal has already been removed for new subscribers, those currently subscribed to Fubo and paying with PayPal will find their payment method becomes invalid soon.

According to Fubo, failure to add an alternate payment method (a credit or debit card) before April 2 will result in the subscription automatically expiring, and the subscriber losing access to their live TV package.

In cases where the subscriber’s billing cycle renews after April 2 and they don’t add an alternate payment method in time, those subscribers will automatically receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of their paid subscription.

For those that would prefer to avoid any of these issues, the option to update the payment method can be found in the Billing section of the My Account page.

Although an inconvenience for customers, Fubo says it will provide affected subscribers with a $15 credit. The bill credit is expected to be automatically applied on or after April 3, 2026.
