Sling TV is offering big savings when paying for the first four months in advance. With football season due to kick off soon, this is a good opportunity for sports fans to save over the next few months on a live TV package.
Sling is offering access to the combined Orange & Blue plan, along with the Sports Extra add-on, for as little as $199. As this is for four months, subscribers are basically paying a minimum of $50 a month for each of the first four months.
Sling Orange & Blue
+ Sports Extra for 4 months from $199
To put the price into perspective, the Sling Orange & Blue plan typically costs $55 a month. On top of this, the Sports Extra add-on adds an additional $15 to the monthly cost. With the combined monthly price totaling $70, and Sling including four months in the prepaid deal, subscribers would normally pay a minimum of $280 for four months, resulting in a saving of around $80.
It should be noted that the $199 prepaid price is the minimum new subscribers will pay. The Sling Orange & Blue plan provides access to ABC in select locations and the availability of the local channel results in an additional $5 a month charge.
As a result, those based in an area where ABC is available will end up paying $219 in advance through this deal. While $20 more than other areas, the saving is exactly the same, as those subscribers would normally pay a minimum of $300 for the same base package and sports add-on over four months.
As a reminder, Sling’s Sports Extra add-on unlocks access to ACC Network, ACC Network Extra, beIN Sports, ESPNews, ESPNU, Longhorn Network, MLB Network, MLB Strike Zone, NBA TV, NHL Network, SEC Network, SEC Network+, and Tennis Channel.
