Sling TV subscribers can watch the FXM channel for free, and for all of August, thanks to the live TV service’s latest free trial.
Technically, the free trial is being offered by Dish TV, so all Dish TV and Sling TV customers can check out the channel for free all month long.
As the FXM free preview went live on August 1st, some may have already noticed the availability of the channel in the live guide. If not, the channel will remain accessible through August 31st, 2025.
For those that would like to retain access to FXM after the free preview, the channel is included with Hollywood Extra. This add-on unlocks access to a variety of popular channels, including both FXM and FXX.
All Sling Blue subscribers can add the Hollywood Extra add-on to their live TV package for an additional $6 a month. However, if signed up to Sling Orange, the only way to add FXM is to subscribe to the combined Orange & Blue package.
Although the Hollywood Extra add-on is available to bundle with the base Sling Orange plan, the Sling Orange version of the add-on doesn’t include access to FXM.
If new to Sling TV, the ability to watch FXM at no additional cost will be available after signing up, and for the remainder of the month.
Dish TV subscribers can add FXM by adding the Dish Movie Pack add-on to their live TV package.
