Spectrum Adds Multiview Support For March Madness, Allowing Fans To Watch Multiple Games At The Same Time

Spectrum has now added Multiview support to the Spectrum TV app, allowing customers to watch multiple video feeds at the same time on the one screen. The new Multiview support arrives just in time for this year’s March Madness tournaments.

Thanks to the launch of Multiview, Spectrum customers can now watch up to four video feeds simultaneously.

The new support arrives just in time for this year’s March Madness tournaments, removing the need to switch between channels to keep up with different games taking place at the same time.

In fact, support is currently only available to those watching NCAA men’s and women’s basketball games.

“The NCAA Tournament is the perfect time for basketball fans to experience the thrill of multiple games at once,” said Elena Ritchie, Senior Vice President, Video Product. “Multiview is all about making it easier for customers to catch every highlight and stay connected to the action.”

Spectrum’s Multiview is available directly in the Spectrum TV app on supported devices, including Xumo Stream Box and Xumo TVs, as well as Apple TV, LG, Roku, Samsung, Vizio, and Xbox devices.

Once in Multiview mode, customers will have the ability to choose between curated Multiview options. Users will also be able to select which audio they hear while in Multiview mode along with the ability to switch audio feeds when wanted.

While currently only available during March Madness, Charter says the plan is to make Multiview support routinely available throughout the year, and for a variety of other major sporting events, including the NHL and NBA playoffs, the World Cup, college football and NFL.
