If there weren’t already enough reasons to download the Tubi app, Fox has now confirmed that Super Bowl LIX will be available to watch on Tubi. As Tubi is a completely free streaming service, that also means this year’s Super Bowl will be available to stream live for free.

Technically, the big game will be shown on Fox. However, this year Fox is launching a “special takeover of Tubi” which will result in the game being shown live at the same time on Tubi. Not to mention, shown live in 4K.

With Tubi also available on a wide variety of platforms, football fans will be able to watch live on their preferred devices, including smart TVs, streaming players, computers, and mobile devices.

In addition to the main event, Fox Sports’ Tubi takeover will also include Fox’s Super Bowl LIX pregame show and Tubi Red Carpet At Super Bowl LIX. Advertised as “a first-of-its-kind live pre-show,” Tubi Red Carpet At Super Bowl LIX will cover “the celebrity, fashion and culture behind America’s biggest sports event live from Caesars Superdome.”

While fans will have to wait until Feb. 9 to watch the big game, Fox also confirmed that the NFL Channel on Tubi will be counting down the days. Beginning Jan. 28, the free channel will be showing a variety of related programming, including historical Super Bowls, iconic halftime shows, best of NFL Honors, NFL analysis and much more.
