Tubi has now surpassed 74 million monthly active users. Tubi is one of the most popular free services around and its growth continues to highlight the growth of free streaming services and content in general.

Tubi is only one of many free streaming services, but its large catalog of movies and shows, its original content, and its light ad load, continues to prove popular with consumers looking to save on the cost of streaming.

The service has proven so popular that Tubi today confirmed that it has officially surpassed 74 million monthly active users. To put its speed of growth into perspective, Tubi confirmed it had reached 64 million monthly active users in February, resulting in the addition of 10 million during this year alone.

Tubi also confirmed that it logged almost 4 billion streaming hours for the first half of the calendar year. Again, with more than 5 billion hours streamed in 2022 in total, Tubi looks very much on track to report a significant increase in hours streamed in 2023.

Tubi is now watched as much as a top 5 cable network, as audiences continue to embrace our digital-first, 100% free streaming experience,” said Anjali Sud, newly appointed CEO of Tubi. “The platform continues to scale with 47% growth in ad revenue and 65% growth in total viewing time Q4 over Q4, and we are executing an ambitious strategy to define the next generation of entertainment through our diverse content, passionate audience and innovative tech platform.”

For those new to Tubi, the free, ad-supported streaming service’s library offers access to more than 200,000 movies and TV episodes. In addition, Tubi users also get access to around 250 FAST linear channels.

Similar to many other streaming services, Tubi also has a collection of originals for consumers to check out. At last count, the number of Tubi originals stood at close to 200, and have collectively been watched by nearly 54 million viewers.
