Tubi Doubles Down On Horror With Permanent ‘Terror on Tubi’ Hub

While Tubi has always been a good service to stream horror content, and especially for free, the streaming service is now doubling down on the genre with the launch of a new Terror on Tubi hub.

According to Tubi, the streaming service is home to more than 13,000 hours of horror content. All of which has resulted in genre fans streaming more than 53 million hours of horror content on Tubi each month.

With such a clear emphasis on horror, as well as an equally clear demand for content from this genre, Tubi has now opted to ensure horror fans have a year-round hub where they can even more quickly and easily find something to watch.

This streamlining comes in the form of a new Terror on Tubi hub that can be accessed across devices, including smart TVs, mobile devices, and the website, in the U.S.

Tubi has previously made horror-themed hubs available to users, typically around October and Halloween. However, this one is not only different in the sense that it has arrived in August, but also in the fact that it appears to now be a permanent fixture on the platform.

“Horror isn’t seasonal. For millions of fans, it’s their version of comfort viewing: something they return to ritualistically all year round,” said Adam Lewinson, Chief Content Officer at Tubi. “We custom-built Terror on Tubi to give that fandom a home so they can indulge in what they already love and then follow the rabbit hole to discover something unexpected.”

While initially available in the U.S., Tubi says its Terror on Tubi hub will be coming to a number of international markets in due course, including Australia, Canada, Latin America, Mexico, and the U.K.

As is the case with Tubi’s library in general, the hub in each of these markets will feature a tailored selection of horror content designed to reflect local fans and the region.
