Tubi is all set to stream two MLS games next month. As Tubi is a completely free streaming service, both of these Decision Day matches will be available to stream for free.
What You Need to Know
- Tubi will stream two MLS Decision Day matches for free on Saturday, November 7.
- Soccer fans will be able to watch one from each of the Eastern and Western Conferences.
- The free broadcasts could help drive interest and fuel new sign-ups for Apple TV ahead of the 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs.
Decision Day takes place on Saturday, November 7, and will see all final regular-season matches for the Eastern and Western Conferences played at the exact same time as other games from the same conference.
With the potential for playoff qualification and positioning to come down to the final whistle, it can be a drama-filled day.
While all of this season’s Decision Day matches will be available to stream with an Apple TV subscription, the following two games will also simulcast on Tubi this year.
- Inter Miami vs. Charlotte FC – 4pm ET
- Seattle Sounders vs. LAFC – 7pm ET
“Live sports bring people together around moments that matter, and we believe more fans should have the opportunity to be a part of them,” said Adam Lewinson, Chief Content Officer at Tubi. “Together with Major League Soccer and Apple, we’re making it easier for fans to experience the excitement, the stakes, and the stories that make Decision Day so compelling, whether they’ve followed their favorite team all season long or are tuning in for the first time.”
As one of these games is from the Eastern Conference and the other from the Western Conference, soccer fan will be able to watch both games to see how the two Conferences end the day and the regular season, and ahead of the start of the Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs on November 18.
“Decision Day is one of the most thrilling moments of the MLS season, with so much at stake as clubs battle for Audi MLS Cup Playoffs positioning. In addition to all the action being available on Apple TV, we’re excited to work with Tubi to bring two marquee matchups to even more fans across the country, giving them an opportunity to experience the intensity and excitement of Major League Soccer, our global stars, and Decision Day,” said Camilo Durana, Chief Business Officer at MLS.
While this may seem like bad news for Apple TV, the two free games can be a good way to generate additional interest in MLS. With Apple TV the official streaming home of every Audi MLS Cup Playoffs match, it could also help to fuel signups.
“Momentum around MLS has never been stronger, and we’re excited to build on that enthusiasm alongside MLS and Tubi,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Music, Sports, Apple TV, and Beats. “This partnership creates another opportunity for audiences across the country to discover MLS and experience the excitement of the biggest moments of the season during a milestone year for the sport.”
For reference, this won’t be the only live sports event streaming for free on Tubi next month. This year’s NFL Thanksgiving matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys will also be available to watch live on the free streaming service.
