Verizon customers (postpaid mobile, Home Internet and/or Fios TV) can currently get a free year of Netflix Premium when purchasing a year of Uber One. Considering Netflix Premium costs $22.99 a month, or $275 over a full year, this is a very good way to save $100s on one of the most popular streaming services around.
The cost of Uber One through Verizon +play is currently $96 for the entire year. As a result, those opting to taking advantage of this deal are getting a combined value of $371.88 for just $96.
Verizon +play
1 Year of Uber One & Netflix Premium For $96
The offer is primarily available to new Uber One subscribers. According to Verizon, while it is possible for existing Uber One subscribers to switch over to this deal, switching over will effectively result in the cancelation of the old subscription and the creation of a new one. In other words, existing annual Uber One subscribers won’t be able to get a refund for any unused time.
With no annual Netflix plan available, there’s no similar issues with Netflix. Those already paying for a standalone Netflix subscription can simply link their existing account to the +play offer (after signing up to Uber One) and the next year of streaming will then be free.
It is also worth noting that the free year of Netflix Premium starts immediately after signing up to Uber One, which also means there’s no way to delay the start date of the free year of Netflix.
As is typically the case with annual deals like this, both subscriptions will auto-renew at their usual rates, unless canceled. This will result in the Netflix subscription renewing at the usual price (currently $22.99 a month) after the first year.
