ESPN fans will be happy to know that WWE Premium Live Events are set to make their debut on ESPN platforms sooner than previously announced.

Earlier in August, Disney announced a new rights agreement between ESPN and WWE. The new deal confirmed ESPN platforms would become the exclusive U.S. domestic home of all WWE Premium Live Events, including WrestleMania, beginning in 2026.

This week, Disney announced the rights agreement will actually take effect next month. The updated announcement confirms ESPN will become the exclusive U.S. domestic home of all WWE Premium Live Events, including WrestleMania, from September 20, 2025.

In addition, Disney has also now confirmed the first WWE Premium Live Event on ESPN will be Wrestlepalooza. Streaming live on Saturday, September 20 at 7pm ET/4pm PT, the first-ever Wrestlepalooza will take place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

On September 20, WWE and ESPN are coming together for a can’t-miss event to kick off our new partnership,” said WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. “The biggest Superstars in WWE. The biggest brand in sports media. Are you ready?

This year’s Wrestlepalooza is set to feature John Cena, Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre.

Wrestlepalooza will be available to stream live on the new ESPN direct-to-consumer streaming service, which launched today.

An ESPN Unlimited subscription costs $29.99 a month and subscribers get access to all of ESPN’s live channels, ESPN+ (now known as ESPN Select), and all of the live events shown on ESPN, including Wrestlepalooza and all future WWE Premium Live Events.
