Xfinity X1 customers will have the opportunity to watch, or rewatch, the first season of Netflix‘s ‘Squid Game‘ for free next week. While no Netflix subscription is required, Xfinity X1 customers will only have a short period of time to stream the free episodes.

All nine episodes of the first season will be available to stream beginning June 16 and through June 22. Four language options will also be available, including Korean (with English subtitles), Korean (with Spanish subtitles), English dubbed, and Spanish dubbed.

To access the free episodes during this period, Xfinity X1 customers can simply say “Squid Game” into their voice remote.

The availability of the first season of the popular show arrives just in time, as season three of Squid Game is due to land on Netflix on June 27, 2025. As this is also the last season of the show, it is expected to be a exciting and binge-worthy one.

For Xfinity X1 customers that do decide they would like subscribe to Netflix to watch season two, as well as season three when it becomes available later this month, it is worth keeping the ‘Xfinity StreamSaver’ bundle in mind.

Priced at $15 a month, the bundle not only unlocks access to Netflix (the Standard with ads plan), but also Apple TV+ and Peacock Premium as well.

Considering these subscriptions typical cost around $26 when subscribed to all three separately, bundle subscribers save around $10 each month.
