Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune are coming to Hulu and Peacock later this year, with the latest episodes set to be available to stream the very next day.
The streaming availability of both shows is the result of a new licensing deal with Sony Pictures Television.
Not only is this the first time that in-season syndicated episodes of both shows will be available on streaming platforms, but the deal also includes access to library episodes of both shows as well.
For fans eager to stream them, episodes are due to become available on both platforms in September, when the latest seasons enter syndication.
“We are thrilled to bring America’s favorite game shows to an even wider audience on Hulu, Hulu on Disney+, and Peacock,” said Keith Le Goy, Chairman of Sony Pictures Television. “Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune are two of the most successful game shows in television history and we look forward to giving fans the best possible streaming access to our shows this fall.”
For those not signed up to either service, Peacock is currently the cheaper option. While Peacock’s ad-supported plan costs $7.99 a month, Hulu’s ad-supported plan currently costs $9.99 a month.
The price difference is even more apparent at the ad-free level, with Peacock’s ad-free plan costing $13.99 each month and Hulu’s ad-free plan costing $18.99 a month.
Of course, there is also the option to bundle Hulu with Disney+ at a much cheaper price. The ad-supported bundle, for example, starts at $10.99, and the ad-free bundle starts at $19.99 a month.
