Amazon Fire TV users will soon gain access to the Spectrum TV app. Amazon and Charter have confirmed the app will arrive on the Fire TV platform mid-way through April, and provide a premium streaming experience.

According to a joint announcement from Spectrum and Amazon, the Spectrum TV app will become available to Fire TV users on April 15, 2026.
Fire TV joins an ever-growing list of platforms and devices compatible with the Spectrum TV app, including Apple TV, LG smart TVs, Roku, Samsung smart TVs, Vizio smart TVs, Xumo Stream Box, and Xumo TV devices.
This is in addition to Android and iOS smartphones and tablets, and Amazon Fire Tablets.
“The Spectrum TV App is designed to fit seamlessly into how customers stream TV today,” said Elena Ritchie, Senior Vice President, Video at Spectrum. “Making it available on Amazon Fire TV devices will give our customers even more flexibility to access their Spectrum TV service on the streaming platforms they use every day.”
In terms of device support, the Spectrum TV app is compatible with all Amazon Fire TV devices running Fire OS 6+ or Vega OS, including the Fire TV 4K Select, Fire TV 4K Max, Fire TV Omni QLED Series, Hisense U6, TCL QM64L Series, and Panasonic Z95B.
Once available, Spectrum TV customers will gain another way to stream their full Spectrum TV channel lineup (including the ability to pause live TV), on-demand entertainment, and cloud DVR recordings.
In addition, the Fire TV version of the app will also allow users to access Spectrum’s new Multiview feature when watching select live sports.
