The Spectrum TV app is now available on LG and Vizio smart TVs, providing Spectrum TV customers with more ways to access and stream their content.

Spectrum TV customers can now not only access their full channel lineup on LG and Vizio smart TVs, but they can also access thousands of on-demand shows and movies, and even Spectrum’s Cloud DVR service.

As is the case with other apps available on Vizio smart TVs, Vizio TV owners won’t need to download the app. Instead, they will now find the Spectrum TV App available in the Apps section on the Home Screen.

For those with an LG smart TV, the Spectrum TV App is now available to download directly from the LG Content Store.

We are meeting our customers where they are, making it easier than ever for them to enjoy their favorite content,” said Elena Ritchie, Senior Vice President, Video. “The Spectrum TV App brings additional value and convenience to our services and, by adding the app to popular platforms like LG and Vizio TVs, we are providing our customers with even more flexibility.”

Spectrum TV customers without access to an LG or Vizio smart TV but looking to take advantage of support for other devices, the Spectrum TV App is also available to download on a variety of other platforms, including Apple TV, Google TV, and Roku players, as well as on Samsung smart TVs.

The Spectrum TV app is also available to download on Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.

This is the second app support improvement for Vizio TV owners this month. Earlier in May, Vizio TV users gained the ability to access local channels, including ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and PBS, directly within the Sling TV app.

On the LG side of things, last month saw the arrival of the Xbox app on LG TVs, making it possible for LG TV owners to play games directly on their TV, without the need for a console.
