Vizio WatchFree+ users now have access to another free channel. The latest addition is AccuWeather’s FAST channel, AccuWeather Now, which provides access to local and national weather news and information.

WatchFree+ joins a growing list of free platforms and services, including Comcast, LG, Roku, and Xumo, that now offer access to the AccuWeather Now FAST channel.

We are thrilled to be working with Vizio to bring the most recognized and most accurate forecasts and warnings as well as comprehensive and compelling weather content to their community,” said Steven R. Smith, Chief Executive Officer of AccuWeather.

In addition to AccuWeather’s forecast for a viewer’s local area, WatchFree+ users can also expect access to the channel’s dramatic weather videos, social media content, and long-form coverage of major weather events.

At AccuWeather, we are committed to providing unparalleled weather insights and forecasts that help people, communities and companies stay safer and make the best weather-impacted decisions. We are delighted to strengthen that commitment to the Vizio universe,” added Smith.

The availability of AccuWeather Now on WatchFree+ follows last month’s addition of Local Now. The Local Now FAST channel provides access to some local weather information, as well as traffic, news, and sports information.

For those without access to a Vizio smart TV, Vizio’s free streaming service is also available to stream on Android and iOS mobile devices by downloading the Vizio App.

And with WatchFree+ now providing access to more 300 FAST channels in total, it can be a good option for those looking to stream more free content.
