Apple TV and Peacock Bundle Follows Standalone Price Hikes With $3 Jump

The Apple TV and Peacock bundle now costs $3 more. The bundle price hike follows last month’s individual price increases for each of the two included streaming services.

Previously, new subscribers could sign up to the Apple TV + Peacock Premium (with ads) bundle for $14.99 per month. However, with $3 added to that price, subscribers will now pay $17.99 each month.

Likewise, the Apple TV + Peacock Premium Plus (ad-free) bundle has increased from $19.99/mo to $22.99/mo, resulting in the same $3 price increase.

The price increase is already in effect for new subscribers when signing up and we would expect existing subscribers to begin paying the new rates as part of their next billing cycle.

Bundle Price Increase Follows Individual Price Increases

The reason the bundle has now increased in price is quite simple – the individual services also recently increased in price.

Midway through August, Peacock increased the price of its Premium plans, upping the standard cost of the Premium monthly plan from $10.99/mo to $12.99/mo, and the Premium Plus monthly plan from $16.99/mo to $19.99/mo.

Then, later in August, Apple TV subscribers in the U.S. were hit with their own price increase. Considering the cost of a subscription increased from $12.99/mo to $14.99/mo, subscribers now pay $2 more each month for Apple TV.

With both services having increased, resulting in standalone subscriptions to both services now costing a minimum of $4 more each month, the bundle price increase hasn’t actually increased by quite as much.

All of which means subscribers technically now save even more on the two streaming services when bundling, even though they are actually paying more each month for access to Apple TV and Peacock.
