Best Buy is currently running a promotion that provides new subscribers with access to Apple TV Plus for free for three months. Considering the standard free trial is only seven days, this can be a good way to test out Apple’s streaming service for longer without paying. Already tried Apple TV Plus? returning subscribers can also take advantage of this promotion.

The standard cost of an Apple TV Plus subscription is $6.99 per month. As mentioned, there’s a 7-day free trial available to all new users, while those signing up to Apple One (which includes Apple TV Plus) get a 1-month free trial instead. Those with an eligible Apple device may also find they are able to get three months for free.

Regardless of whether you have an eligible Apple device, Best Buy is currently running a promotion which unlocks three months for free. Even though a purchase is necessary, it doesn’t actually cost you anything. However, this will also mean that a Best Buy account is required, and that a payment method is linked to that account.

The way the deal works is that you are buying a free Apple TV Plus free trial. Once you add the ‘Free Apple TV+ for 3 months’ product to your cart and complete checkout, Best Buy will send you a “Get 3 free months of Apple TV+ now” email. Clicking on the Redeem Now link in the email will direct you to the Apple TV Plus website and automatically apply the promotional code, unlocking three months in the process.

Once again, this offer is only available to new and returning customers so anyone with an active Apple TV Plus subscription won’t be able to add it to their account to get three months for free.

For those that do take advantage of the offer, it is important to keep in mind that they will automatically be charged the usual monthly rate once the three-month free trial has come to an end.
