DirecTV Adding Three More Sports ‘Mix’ Multiview Channels

DirecTV is adding three more ‘Mix’ channels to its lineup, providing users with access to more multiview options. All three of the new Mix channels are designed with sports fans in mind.

DirecTV‘s Mix Channels allow users to watch up to four live networks at once on a single screen.

While DirecTV has been offering Multiview for some time now, the company only recently started testing the functionality for streaming customers.

The three new Mix channels coming to DirecTV are College Sports Mix (Ch. 614 and 923), Sports Mix 2 (Ch. 205 and 922), and Deportes Mix (Ch. 470 and 924).

All three are focused on sports and arrive just in time for the busy sports calendar.

College Sports Mix

Combining SEC Network, ESPNU, ACC Network and Big Ten, College Sports Mix helps fans stay current on the college landscape, including college basketball and conference championship.

College Sports Mix is available from today (Nov. 25) for DirecTV for Internet customers and will be available on DirecTV Everywhere for satellite customers from Dec. 9.

Deportes Mix

Bringing together TUDN, FOX Deportes, ESPN Deportes and TyC Sports, Deportes Mix is for fans who want to watch all the big matches, fights and highlights en español.

Deportes Mix is available from today (Nov. 25) for DirecTV for Internet customers and will be coming soon for DirecTV Everywhere for satellite customers.

Sports Mix 2

Combining ESPN, FS1, SEC Network and Big Ten, Sports Mix 2 provides access to football and basketball in the same place.

Sports Mix 2 will be available from Dec. 9 on DirecTV for Internet and DirecTV Everywhere for satellite customers.

The new Mix channels join the existing lineup of Mix channels, including Sports Mix, League Sports Mix, News Mix, Business Mix, and Kids Mix.
