A new partnership between DirecTV and Cineverse has resulted in a number of channels being added to the DirecTV Stream channel lineup. The new channels are set to go live today (April 23) and will be available through all of DirecTV Stream’s live TV packages, including the cheapest Entertainment plan.
The new Cineverse channels added today include:
- The Bob Ross Channel
- Comedy Dynamics
- Dog Whisperer With Cesar Millan
- Dove Channel
- MeatEater TV
For those interested in checking any of these new channels out, The Bob Ross Channel can be found on channel 4219, Comedy Dynamics on channel 4305, Dog Whisperer With Cesar Millan on channel 4346, Dove Channel on channel 4415, and MeatEater TV on channel 4370.
As part of a separate deal with Scripps Networks, Court TV and Scripps News have also been added to the DirecTV Stream channel lineup. Court TV can now be found on channel 4230 and Scripps News on channel 4009.
All of these new channels follows the addition of Nosey TV (channel 4255), Power Nation (channel 4191) and Origin Sports (channel 4120), all of which were added to the DirecTV Stream channel lineup last month. However, earlier in March, DirecTV also removed A&E (channel 265), History (channel 269), Lifetime (channel 252) and Vice (channel 271) from its DirecTV Stream Entertainment package for new subscribers.
Existing Entertainment subscribers may want to note that they might also lose access to these channels if they don’t manually choose to keep them.
