DirecTV Adds More ‘Mix’ Channels To Multiview Lineup

DirecTV has now added two more Mix channels to its growing lineup of Multiview channels. Both new Mix channels are live today, allowing customers to watch more themed content from different channels at the same time.

DirecTV first launched its Mix channels in August 2025 and has slowly been building out the selection since then. Today, two more channels, Food Mix and Weather Mix, were added to the lineup.

Food Mix

As the name suggests, Food Mix brings together a variety of food-related programming.

The Mix channel can be found on channel 917 in the guide and brings together Food Network, Tastemade, America’s Test Kitchen, and Sweet Escapes.

Food Mix is available to all Signature (and Legacy) Package customers, as well as those signed up to the MyEntertainment Genre Pack.

Weather Mix

For those that like to keep on top of the weather, the new Weather Mix channel can be found on channel 913 and brings together forecasts and breaking weather coverage from different channels.

However, the exact channels depends on the package.

Those signed up to any of the Signature Packages or Genre Packs have access to a two-tile version of Weather Mix which includes AccuWeather and Fox Weather.

Those signed up to the Choice or higher Signature Package also have access to a three-tile version of Weather Mix, bringing together The Weather Channel, AccuWeather, and Fox Weather.

As a reminder, other Mix channels currently available through DirecTV include Business Mix, College Sports Mix, Deportes Mix, Kids Mix, League Sports Mix, News Mix, Sports Mix, and Sports Mix 2.

Depending on the package and location, DirecTV customers might also find they have access to a Locals Mix channel and a Sunday Sports Mix channel.
