DirecTV Stream subscribers now have access to two more channels after Tastemade Home and Tastemade Travel were added to the channel lineup. As the names suggest, both of these channels fall under the wider Tastemade umbrella and are designed to focus more acutely on specific content.
Tastemade launched the Tastemade Home streaming channel back in late 2022 as a new 24/7 channel showcasing design shows and DIY-focused programming for homeowners and renters. At launch, Tastemade Home was available on Amazon’s Freevee, Tubi, and Sling TV.
In contrast, the Tastemade Travel channel was launched back in 2021, and is designed to focus more heavily on food-related shows and content from around the globe. At launch, Tastemade Travel was available to watch on Freevee (iMDb TV at the time), Redbox, Samsung TV Plus, and Vizio’s WatchFree+ service.
With both channels now available on DirecTV Stream, subscribers will find Tastemade Home available to watch on channel 4359 and Tastemade Travel can now be found on channel 4358.
“DirecTV Stream customers are in for a treat with Tastemade Home and Tastemade Travel arriving in their program guides alongside our flagship food channel. We’re excited to expand our partnership with DirecTV as they evolve their content strategy, and to provide fresh, engaging, and distinctive home and travel content that combines entertainment and utility and sets us apart in the industry,” said Evan Bregman, Tastemade’s General Manager, Streaming.”
DirecTV Stream has added a few new channels over the past few weeks. For example, August saw the addition of Fox Soul (Ch. 4401), Fuel TV (Ch. 4110), and SportsGrid (Ch. 4105), while FMC (Family Movie Classics – Ch. 314) and MeTV (Ch. 77) were added to the lineup back in July.
The company also recently confirmed that Willow TV is set to become avaialble through DirecTV’s Sports Pack add-on in early October.
As a reminder, DirecTV and DirecTV Stream subscribers will have access to a few additional channels this week, as DirecTV will begin offering a free preview of its Movies Extra Pack add-on starting tomorrow, unlocking access to eight premium channels for a limited time.
