DirecTV Stream is currently offering new deals on all of its live TV packages. The exact deal and saving depends on the plan, with the maximum possible being $44.99 over three months when signing up to either Choice or Ultimate and adding Sports Pack.

Normally priced at $79.99 a month, Entertainment is the cheapest live TV package that DirecTV Stream offers. Right now, however, new subscribers can get Entertainment and Sports Pack for $84.98 a month for three months. Considering Sports Pack typically costs an additional $14.99 a month, the deal results in a $10 monthly saving for each of the first three months, and a total saving of $30 over three months.

From what we can tell, Sports Pack is automatically bundled when signing up to the Entertainment plan through the DirecTV Stream website and attempting to remove the add-on also removes the $10 discount. As a result, it seems new Entertainment subscribers need to keep Sports Pack for all three months to retain the discount.

In contrast, DirecTV Stream is offering a straight $10 discount on its Choice, Ultimate and Premier plans for the first three months, resulting in a saving of $30. For those that also want Sports Pack, the add-on can be manually added to Choice or Ultimate during checkout for free for the first month.

As Sports Pack is only free for one month with Choice and Ultimate, subscribers may want to make sure they remove the add-on before the second month, if they want to avoid being billed an additional $15. If remaining subscribed to Choice or Ultimate for the full three months, and bundling Sports Pack (but canceling Sports Pack before the second month), the total maximum saving works out to be $44.99.

Basically, new subscribers can sign up to Entertainment and pay $84.98/month for three months for both Entertainment and Sports Pack. Alternatively, subscribe to Choice for $98.99/month (down from $108.99), Ultimate for $109.99/month (down from $119.99) or Premier for $154.99/month (down from $164.99) for three months. Choice and Ultimate subscribers also have the option of getting one month of Sports Pack for free.
