2025 might not be over yet but DirecTV has already confirmed plans to expand its entertainment content in 2026. Specifically, the AMC+ streaming service will be added to select live TV packages next year.

  • DirecTV will add AMC+ to select Signature Packages and the MyEntertainment Genre Pack next year, offering the ad-supported version valued at $6.99/month.
  • Shudder is also now expected to join the MyCinema Mini-Pack at no extra cost, though when remains less clear right now.
  • Hallmark and AMC Networks have already been added to MyEntertainment, unlocking more seasonal programming just in time for the holidays.

While now confirmed, DirecTV isn’t being too specific in terms of exactly which plans will include AMC+. At least not when it comes to its Signature Packages. Instead, DirecTV says AMC+ will be available with “select” packages next year.

In addition to those select Signature Packages, AMC+ will also be added to the MyEntertainment Genre Pack at the same time.

MyEntertainment already includes Disney+, Hulu and HBO Max, making it a good and affordable entertainment-based alternative to the main Entertainment Signature Package.

Similar to those other bundled streaming services, MyEntertainment and eligible Signature Package subscribers will gain access to the ‘With Ads’ version of AMC+, a streaming value of $6.99 a month.

As part of the same deal with AMC Networks, Shudder is also now expected to be added to the MyCinema Mini-Pack add-on at no additional cost.

Based on DirecTV’s wording, however, when Shudder will be added to the Mini-Pack seems less decided at the moment, so it is possible Shudder may arrive later in 2026.

While MyEntertainment subscribers will have to wait a little longer for AMC+, DirecTV added both Hallmark and AMC Networks to the Genre Pack today, unlocking access to a variety of holiday content, and just in time for the holidays.
