As we reported last month, the new Movies Extra Pack + Peacock add-on costs $9.99 a month, on top of the price of a base plan. At the new rate, DirecTV subscribers now pay $5 more each month for the add-on.
In spite of the price increase, the add-on is still cheaper than a standalone Peacock subscription. Last month, Peacock increased the price of its standard Premium plan to $10.99 a month, a $3 monthly increase.
In addition to Peacock Premium, Movies Extra Pack + Peacock subscribers also get access to the following entertainment channels:

Although now included in Movies Extra Pack, Peacock Premium remains a separate subscription and will need to be manually activated by the user.
After signing up to the add-on, new Movies Extra Pack + Peacock subscribers will receive an email explaining how they can activate their included Peacock Premium subscription.
Existing Movies Extra Pack subscribers should note their subscription has now been automatically upgraded to Movies Extra Pack + Peacock, and at the higher cost.
Existing subscribers will also need to manually activate their Peacock Premium subscription either through an email or by clicking on the Activate Peacock Premium link in the Manage my TV Package section of their DirecTV account.
