The latest Peacock price increase has now taken effect, raising the minimum cost of a Premium subscription up to $10.99 a month. As the price increase was confirmed last week, this is not a completely unexpected change.
Considering Premium was previously priced at $7.99 a month, the cheapest ad-supported tier now costs $3 more each month. An effect of the monthly price increase is that the annual Premium plan now costs $109.99 a year, $30 more than it did before.
For those that prefer an ad-free streaming experience, the Premium Plus tier has increased by the same amount. With another $3 added to the price, Premium Plus now costs $16.99 a month.
If opting to sign up on an annual basis, the Premium Plus plan costs $169.99 a year, also $30 more than it did before.
While the price increase is now in effect for those signing up today, existing subscribers can expect their price to increase by the same amount at some point during the next month.
The exact date an existing subscriber’s plan will increase will depend on their individual billing cycle. However, all existing subscribers can expect to begin paying the new monthly rate on or after August 22, 2025.
Peacock joins a list of streaming services that have increased in price this year, including Acorn TV, Discovery+, Fubo, Netflix, Plex, and Shudder.
This also marks the third year in a row that Peacock has increased in price, and the third increase since the streaming service launched back in 2020.
