Fandango at Home, formerly Vudu, is offering users the opportunity to stream a selection of TCM movies for free for a limited-time. The free movies will rotate each week and the selection includes popular titles like Cool Hand Luke, The Dirty Dozen, and Rebel Without a Cause.
The availability of these movies is part of a wider partnership between Fandango at Home and Turner Classic Movies to celebrate the 15th Annual TCM Classic Film Festival, which takes place April 18-21, 2024. As part of the celebrations, Fandango at Home is hosting a TCM storefront where users can easily find and access the TCM library of movies, including those that have been made available to watch for free.
Speaking of which, the selection of free movies consists of 30 classic titles from the TCM library that have screened at the TCM Classic Film Festival over the last 15 years. The free TCM movies will be available to stream throughout the rest of April and May, and rotate on a weekly basis.
“We are thrilled to join forces with Turner Classic Movies to provide fans access to beloved classic films, some for Free for the first time,” said Cameron Douglas, SVP of OTT/Streaming for Fandango. “Through this new relationship, we aim to celebrate the rich cinematic history represented by TCM’s extensive film library and offer our dedicated users special deals and offers.”
Fandango at Home is also the presenting sponsor of this year’s TCM Classic Film Festival. As part of the same partnership, those visiting the annual event in Hollywood, California also have the opportunity to check out Fandango at Home’s “Living Room” pop-up experience at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres, where they will be able to hang out, take pictures, and access exclusive offers.
