PHYND has now launched its cloud-gaming streaming service on Amazon Fire TV in the United States, offering those with an eligible device another way to game without the need for any additional hardware.

Available on select Fire TV Sticks and Amazon Ember smart TVs, the new game streaming service is completely free to play. PHYND is able to offer the service at no additional cost due to the use of ads.
The launch on Amazon’s Fire TV platform follows similar launches on LG smart TVs (in July) and Samsung smart TVs (in May).

While now available, the service has only launched in beta, with access to the service limited to the following Fire TV devices:

- Fire TV Stick 4K Max (1st and 2nd Gen)
- Fire TV Stick 4K Plus
- Fire TV Cube (3rd Gen)
- Amazon Ember 2-Series
- Amazon Ember 4-Series
- Amazon Ember QLED Series
- Amazon Ember Mini-LED Series.
In addition to device support, the beta status also means the service is currently limited in terms of the selection of available games.

Those with access to a currently supported device can install the PHYND app directly on their Fire TV device from the Amazon Appstore and start playing with a compatible game controller or by using their smartphone as a controller.
