Fubo has now replaced the Elite and Premier plans with more expensive packages. As Fubo has a tendency to trial new plans, it remains unclear whether these are temporary or permanent changes.
In the meantime, those now planning on signing up to Fubo will have to consider the newer package options. Technically, Elite is still available, but Fubo is now bundling its Sports Plus add-on with the base plan. With the new ‘Elite with Sports Plus‘ package priced at $99.99, it is $10 more each month than the standard Elite plan.
In terms of Premier, that’s now been replaced with a new Deluxe package. Priced at $109.99, Deluxe also costs $10 more than the Premier plan each month. However, subscribers do get access to Sports Plus and MGM+ with Deluxe, which technically makes it cheaper than bundling these sports and entertainment add-ons with the $99.99/mo Premier base plan.
The same is technically true with the new Elite with Sports Plus plan. Considering Fubo typically charges $10.99 a month for Sports Plus, the newer package is $1 cheaper than signing up to the standard Elite plan and adding Sports Plus.
As mentioned, Fubo does routinely play around with its plans so this may only be a temporary change. The Premier plan, for example, is often switched out for an Ultimate alternative. While Ultimate also includes access to the Sports Plus add-on, it doesn’t include MGM+, which is what makes it different to the Deluxe plan now available.
Fubo last swapped Premier out for Ultimate in August 2023, with the Premier plan returning again in October. Unless they prove to be particularly popular with customers, a similar situation is likely to happen again this year with the newer Elite with Sports Plus and Deluxe packages.
