If you’re already subscribed to Fubo, or considering signing up, the live TV service’s base packages now include ESPN+. Well, any Fubo plan that already includes the main ESPN channel now also include ESPN+.
This not only means subscribers signed up to the current Pro and Elite packages, but also those signed up to legacy plans, now have access to ESPN+. What’s more, ESPN+ has been added at no additional cost to those subscribers.
All existing and eligible Fubo subscribers are understood to be in the process of receiving an email confirming their free ESPN+. For those interested in getting started as soon as possible, there will be the option to activate ESPN+ through the invitation email.
Alternatively, the free ESPN+ subscription can also be activated through an existing Fubo user’s account after signing in. The option to ‘activate ESPN+‘ will be located in the Subscription section of My Account in the Settings menu.
Once the subscription has been redeemed, and a MyDisney account created, the Fubo subscriber will then be able to use their MyDisney credentials to log in to the ESPN app or at plus.espn.com and stream ESPN+ content.
If new to Fubo in general and considering signing up, Fubo recently started a new promotion which reduces the cost of the Pro or Elite with Sports Plus plan by $30 for the first month.
The addition of ESPN+ arrives on the same day that Disney made a number of announcements, including confirmation that the standalone ESPN streaming service will launch on August 21st. The new ESPN standalone streaming service will cost $29.99 a month at launch and provide access to the full suite of ESPN networks and services.
