The cost of a Hulu Live TV base package has now increased to $82.99 a month. The new rate reflects a $6 increase on the previous $76.99 a month price of Hulu’s base live TV plan.
For many, the price increase won’t come as a surprise. Disney officially announced the increase was coming in early August, confirming it would take effect in October. At the same time, Disney also confirmed price increases for Disney+, basic Hulu and ESPN+, all of which have also taken effect from today.
Along with the increase to the base Hulu Live TV plan, the cost of the more expensive ‘No Ads‘ plan has also increased. From today, the Hulu (No Ads) + Live TV, Disney+ (No Ads) and ESPN+ (With Ads) package coats $95.99 a month. Likewise, the ‘Live TV Only‘ plan, which excludes basic Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN+, now costs $81.99 a month.
While the higher cost of these Hulu Live TV plans has taken effect for new subscribers signing up today, existing subscribers can expect their price to increase at some point over the next month, depending on when their current billing cycle comes to an end.
